Rosemary herb may benefit against COVID-19 and inflammatory diseases [2022]

Scientists found compounds from the edible herd in rosemary to be a effective for treating Covid-19. The compound found in rosemary, carnosic acid could be a safe, effective, and cheap treatment for the coronavirus and other inflammation disorders. 

“the compound, carnosic acid, can block the interaction between the SARS-CoV-2 outer “spike” protein and the receptor protein, ACE2, which the virus uses to gain entry to cells.” – The Scripps resesrch institute

Rosemary is a herb rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammation compounds. Used for aroma in foods, or teas, and essential oil for releasing stress and memory improvement. Other benefits such as improving the immune system and blood circulation.
