Can Flu vaccine reduce the risks of Alzheimer’s disease? [2022]

Alzheimer’s disease, also know as senile dementia, it’s when the brain cells start to deteriorate, causing memory loss and disorientation. Affecting many older folks starting around the age of 65. And here in Australia Alzheimer’s disease affects roughly around 400,000 people. And is said to have no cure.

But studies from the UTHealth Houston have discovered that individuals who receive a flu shot have 40% less chance developing Alzheimer’s disease for a couple of years, than a non- vaccinated individual.
